Mission
The EMPOWER Lab conducts research to enhance employment, mental health, and overall well-being among people with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Our work focuses on how positive personal factors, supportive environments, and access to employment opportunities contribute to well-being, independent living, and meaningful participation in society. Through rehabilitation counseling research, we generate evidence that advances practice, informs policy, and supports more inclusive communities.
